I've been at Camp for two weeks now...

no cell phone, no internet, no air conditioning for us Eagle Quest-ers,

lots of backpacking (5 nights), lots of training, lots of new friends, a life-guard certification, ...interesting...wild-life experiences, cool fireflies, lots of fun and throwing the frisbee

This is awesome.

I was walking down trail in the middle of our time in the backcountry and I thought to myself ,"Man, I would love to work here." And then I thought to myself, " I do work here!"

Epiphanies are fun.

I still miss Henry and my family and the girls. But God is here too, and He's given me more strength than I thought I had.

Sweet.

Why hello, Middle-of-May.

Yes, it's good to see you too.

But you did come rather suddenly.

Hello time.

But you never stop for my greeting, so I suppose I will just walk with you.

I want so badly to believe that there is truth, that love is real.

And I want life in every word to the extent that it's absurd.

I like outbursts of senselessness.

It has been one month since I last posted. cool.

Last week Jess and Jo came to visit me at John Brown. Yay!!!!!! I did abandon them most of Thursday to finish my lab notebook for Genetics (yes! It is finished!), but we got to hang out Friday night. We ate Thai food. I had red curry. It made my nose drippy. Then we went over to the Dupe and played the Wii--so much fun! We bowled and played tennis and boxed. The girls beat up on the guys in boxing. There are pictures. And a very funny video of Jordan boxing in a skirt.

SPRING BREAK!!!!!

I am presently at A&M enjoying the company of Kara and Jordan (two of my favoritist people). I have gone to a class and slept and eaten waaaay to many of some amazing brownies and have been to the coolest coffee shop ever and lain (<----- I hate this verb and all of its tenses) in the grass and written a letter (with pictures!) to a boy from Oklahoma (whom I miss) who is presently snowboarding in Colorado and talked and rested and walked around and eaten good food and met cool people and modge-podged a vase and hugged good friends.

My place is with the people I love. Thank You God for people to love and be loved by.
